Back On The Horse: B&M

For those who have been following British downhill for a wee while the name Innes Graham will be familiar. For those who haven’t, Innes was a very promising young racer, winning junior national championships and looking to set to make it on the big stage.

However, it didn’t all work out and a collection of injuries culminating in a broken femur (big time ouch) led to him hanging up his racing boots. The video below and this cracking podcast tell the story of this.

It’s great to hear that Innes in back in a good place now and it’s even better to hear someone speaking out about their problems in the mountain bike world. Remember it’s okay to not be okay.

As alluded to in the podcast, Innes was back racing this past weekend at the British national champs where he placed 23rd in elite, 13 seconds off the pace.

Not bad not having raced in years.
