Bouncy Bouncy: B&M

I haven’t ridden a hardtail for yonks, but the chaps from Nukeproof are making it into an itch that needs scratching.  The video below hasn’t even been released yet so I’m gambling a bit on it being good, but if Part 2 was anything to go by, it will be.

I don’t know about you but I find hardtail shredding very satisfying to watch. It’s very pure I think, with no rear suspension to take up the slack when you grab a handful of back brake. Personally, I think everyone should go through owning a hardtail as part of their riding career.

Your braking control, line choice and pumping will all benefit massively, but most of all you’ll never take the bouncy bike for granted again. Just being able to monster truck through stuff like you’re riding a magic carpet gives you a warm fuzzy satisfaction.

Let be honest, we really don’t need extra bikes (or can’t get them) but if you do find yourself looking for one to spice up your riding, a hardtail is a great place to start.
