Man Down: B&M

Last week ended with the unfortunate news that Gee Atherton had taken a digger whilst filming and had been airlifted to hospital. Gee has been charging hard recently, dropping mind blowing video after mind blowing video and this was the news that no one wanted to hear.

There aren’t many that come tougher than the Atherton’s though and you can be sure that Gee will be back riding as soon as he can be.  A quick look into Atherton Project archives to when Dan Atherton broke his neck dirt jumping demonstrates the strength of the family. Not only is Dan back riding and pushing the sport since the injury, but both Gee and Rachel carried on racing whilst Dan was in hospital – hats off to them.

Get well soon Gee!
