Manic Maribor: B&M

I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again – World Cup racing is damn good. This weekend saw the racers launch themselves down the hill in Maribor and we got a fair, fast (bonkers fast) race. If you want the inside line on what went down take a look at this finals slideshow and then settle down with Wyn TV.

Story of the week goes has to be Jackson Goldstone. This first year junior (born in 2004!) has been flying already this year, but looked to have come off the rails somewhat after this brutal crash in practice.

Rather than curl up in a ball and cry for the rest of the week, as I would after hitting a rock like that, Jackson cruised down qualifying to give his body a chance, recovered slightly and pulled out all the stocks and won finals!

They come pretty tough these days.
