MTB Triathlon: B&M

It’s not often that a triathlete makes it onto these pages, but when he’s doing an Everest on one of the most beautiful trails in BC, all to raise funds for the trail association, we can make an exception.

Despite not making the Everest (NB: I have ridden LOTS and to do it on multiple times would be brutal), it was some effort from Karsten.

I wonder if we could come up with a MTB equivalent of triathlon. I don’t know about you but I don’t fancy the swimming or running elements of the usual events so why not make it MTB only. How about; XC bike up – transition onto downhill bike for timed lap down – transition on to dirt jump bike for timed pump track lap?

On second thoughts, maybe not.
