We are hard at work putting the final touches to our 2021 yearbooks, but there’s one person who hasn’t submitted their story yet – you.
That’s right, we are inviting you to submit a piece of writing that will feature on our website and, if you are the one lucky winner, be printed in Spent, the newest addition to our yearbook family.
This is a competition
Yep, this is a writing competition. You know, words and stuff.
It’s a chance to dust off your notepad and get creative with up to 800 words of wisdom. For us, it’s an opportunity to discover new talent. We might even end up using you for future reporting.
To state the obvious, we’re a mountain biking media company, so whatever you write has to be about mountain bikes.
All entries will be posted on our website on a dedicated Words Library page.
One chosen winner will be printed in our latest yearbook, Spent.
All entries will be published on the Misspent Summers website.
Two runners-up will receive free copies of Spent, a photo print and a Misspent Summers beanie.
Submit your writing as a Word, ODT, Pages or PDF document be adding it as an attachment and emailing it to [email protected]
If you are having any problems submitting your writing, don’t hesitate to get in touch via our contact form.
The winner will be chosen on 24 November 2021 and announced via social media.
