The race book for Finale Ligure Enduro World Cup 2024 is now available (click the image below to see the full PDF). It looks like it was published on the MTB World Series website a week or so ago and will presumably be updated at some point as there are quite a few ‘coming soon’ sections.
Still, it’s good to see confirmation of the race schedule for the opening round of the 2024 Enduro World Cup series in Finale Ligure, Italy.
Here are some of the key takeaways:
- enduro (EDR) and e-enduro (E-EDR) practice is on the same day – Friday 10 May
- EDR is on Saturday; E-EDR is on Sunday
- entries for the Finale Ligure Open Enduro are open now
- it’ll cost €150 to enter either the pro or amateur (open) races
- the race HQ and expo is in Finale’s beachside square
- EDR has 5 stages, 57km distance and 1,600m climbing
- E-EDR has 9 stages, 83km distance and 2,450m climbing
- open enduro and e-enduro racing have 4 stages, but the e-bikes climb a lot higher
- course maps will be announced on Friday 3 May
- winners should get their prize money invoice in within 24 hours of the awards ceremony

Head over to the MTB World Series event page for Finale Ligure (Finale Outdoor Region) here – more information about the Enduro World Cup will be posted there soon.
On a total tangent (well, sort of), we can’t wait for the Finale race. We’ll be there hanging out at Finale Work Space (the Misspent Summers office), running a little event and hopefully offering some sort of coffee-and-cake-based sustenance for riders during Friday practice. We hope to see you there soon!
