I don’t have any expectations. I know these trails from a few years back and it’s like a classic stage around this area. Really bumpy and pretty flat so it makes it really hard to ride.
The most important thing is to stay smooth. I think it will be a really good race and really physical also. I just hope it stays dry.

I think it’s a lot like home, so I really enjoy the trails. I mean I don’t mind if it rains or not. I might actually quite like it if it did.

It’s a big draw for someone like me who has had a really long career and the choice to come to a new place to ride, and yes it’s always exciting.
It’s nice when you know that you haven’t got any previous experience and most of the riders don’t have that. Where as somewhere like Finale is where a lot of people go and train and they spend a lot of time there outside of racing.
Vali Höll (The YT Mob)
I really like the (Fort William) motorway. Also, last year for World Champs I made up two seconds just at the jumps. I just really like riding jumps.
Troy Brosnan (Canyon Clltv Factory Team)
It was a tough couple of years. I guess I was putting in so much work and not getting the results that I was expecting.
And similar to Vali we’re on a new bike as well which is a big change coming into the season and more of an unknown than normal with this new bike, having only raced it once at home. It’s good that it works.
