You couldn’t be blamed for saying that professional road racing is a tad boring. I enjoy it, but I can see how watching 7 hours of “racing” for 30 seconds of actual racing at the end can get a bad rep.
I’d implore you however to leave your preconceptions aside for a moment and settle in with this video from the coolest team in pro cycling – The L39ion of Los Angeles.
Once you’ve wiped the tears away that the last interview brought on, it’ll probably dawn on you how important this video is in the grand scheme of things. Cycling (all types) has long had a diversity issue and this is the first of many steps that the industry is taking to remedy that.
Who reckon’s we need a L39ion of LA MTB equivalent?!
