Crazy big crash and pileup at the Mountain of Hell race. I mean, let’s face it: this ain’t funny. We just hope no one got seriously hurt (so far from what we’ve heard, no one did). We remember five-or-so (actually, more) years ago our mate Al Stock going flying off the end of this glacier while leading the race. It was a wild crash, which he somehow didn’t get too badly injured in, but this 2019 carnage has to be a new extreme for what touts itself as a, well, hellish race. Congrats to Kilian Bron and to everyone who made it to the end. Or even the start. Fair play.
