We record downhill and enduro racing history

Real-life paper books are beautiful things, and holding one in your hands is an experience that the fanciest of iPads can’t replicate – like riding your bike on your home trainer is not the same as being outdoors on your mountain bike. Sure, you are spinning your legs and getting a sweat, but you can’t smell the damp moss or feel the wind against your face while you meander your way down that magnificent hazel ribbon of dirt.

The delicious smell of a new book – a mix of fresh ink, paper and glue – or the smooth texture of glossy pages, the sound of flicking through them, or the excitement of discovering stunning images and enthralling stories is something you cannot reproduce with online media. That’s one of the many reasons we love making books (to be precise: mountain biking books). In a digital world of ever-shortening attention spans and fleeting content, books still have their place, mind you, a significant one.

We started producing our MTB yearbooks, ‘Hurly Burly – Downhill Yearbook’ and ‘The World Stage – Enduro World Series Yearbook,’ mainly to record MTB’s downhill and enduro racing history. Until then, there was no definitive record of what went on in the DH World Cup, DH Championships and Enduro World Series (EWS) events other than scattered race reports and results all over the web. Today, you can find everything you’ll need to know (and more) in our downhill and enduro races yearbooks.

Beyond race results, we share the stoke, elation and riveting ambience in MTB racing. Our mountain biking yearbooks are packed with high-quality photography, powerful storytelling and creative design. We assemble MTB’s best photographers, writers, editors and designers to produce exclusive and lasting content.
