A Hot weekend, a dramatic finish, tight liaisons and probably the most dusty it was all season. Morillon delivered everything you could ask for from a season finale, with the 2026 Enduro World Cup titles coming down to the very last stages.
In the Elite Women, Helene Weber looked strong from the start. The newly crowned German Champion led the race after day one by just 1.5 seconds and kept the pressure on into Sunday. But on the very last stage, a crash cost her the win. She still managed to hold on for P3 and her first Elite World Cup podium.
Morgane Charre had the comeback of the weekend. Moving up from P2 after day one, the French racer found the pace when it mattered and took the win by over 11 seconds.
Ella Conolly had more work to do. Sitting in P8 after day one, she switched things around on Sunday and moved back up to P5 by the finish. That was enough to secure her second consecutive overall World Cup title.
The Men’s race was just as tight. Lief Rodgers came into Morillon leading the overall standings, but Adrien Dailly had other plans. The Frenchman delivered when it mattered, taking his first race win since almost six years and, with it, the overall title. Rodgers finished sixth in Morillon, enough to secure P2 in the overall – a result he can definitely be proud of after a season built on serious consistency.
Behind them, Tarmo Ryynänen had a weekend to remember. The Finn pushed his way into second place for his first-ever Elite World Cup podium, finishing the final stage fastest and proving he had the pace to fight right at the front.
The 18 year old Gabriel Sainthuile followed in P3, the second ever Belgian on an elite podium, after Martin Maes.
The german fraction in general had a solid weekend. Helen Weber on the podium, Raphaela Richter on P4. Peter Fuchs put his loose riding style to work and finished the weekend in P13, while Moritz Silberhorn had to watch his day-one P11 disappear after a few too many crashes on Sunday, eventually finishing P17. Still, with Weber on the podium and several Germans putting themselves into the mix, there was plenty to celebrate.
Team of the Day was once again the Speed Project, with Adrien Dailly on P1, the junior Romy Williams on P2 and Mélanie Pugin on 8.
Morillon was dusty, physical and unforgiving – exactly how a final round should be. A pretty good way to close out the 2026 Enduro World Cup.
Now all eyes are on some well deserved weeks of rest and then the third Enduro World Championships in October in legendary Finale Ligure.
