Buy Greg Minnaar’s Maribor 2021 race kit for charity
Last Friday we were fortunate enough to be part of a fundraiser in Morzine organised by Satellite Coffee (the best cafe in town, frequented by the world’s fastest riders and greatest caffeine guzzlers). The event took place at Satellite and across the street at the Santa Cruz Bicycles Morzine showroom. We had a photo and art exhibition (with shots from Meltdown by Sven Martin, Boris Beyer and Seb Schieck plus posters by Jon Gregory) and books for sale, plus there was amazing pizza by Damian McArthur (a local photographer, chef and good guy) and tasty beer.
100% of proceeds are going to Secours en Montagne, a volunteer mountain rescue association that gets us all off the hill when we fall off bikes and skis and stuff (it also helps train mountain rescue pros).

Greg Minnaar race kit auction
This auction is for the O’Neal jersey and pants worn by Greg Minnaar at the UCI World Cup DH race in Maribor on 15 August 2021. Perhaps one of the best races we’ve seen in recent years? Greg placed fourth in a tightly packed top-five. The complete race kit, jersey and pants, will go to the highest bidder.
A very rare chance to own a full podium-placing kit from the GOAT himself, Greg Minnaar.
Greg donated his kit to this auction organised by a friend who recently broke his neck in a mountain bike accident. The accident occurred in the French Alps and required a helicopter evacuation from the backcountry. Thanks to the swift and precise action of the rescue services and hospital staff, his friend will be back to normal in a few months!
All funds raised go to Secours en Montage 74 in France, the volunteer mountain rescue service in the area the accident occurred.
