This video shows a behind-the-scenes account of Charlie, Winni, John, and Joel chasing podiums across Europe. There was plenty of struggling, thriving or surviving depending on the week. We’ve included all the little moments that make what we do some special. Please enjoy, and we hope this can provide some inspiration in your life to take on something difficult and succeed or fail, either is a win in my books!
First and foremost, Thank you John Turpin! You don’t know how much I (Charlie) appreciate you as a person. In particular, with this project, the amount of effort, hours, love and dedication you put into not only filming the entire season but being there as a driver, chef, motivator, and friend. This project would be terrifying to edit being 1.5hrs long but you took it on the chin, got stuck in, and absolutely killed it. Can we all have a round of applause for Johnny T!!
Thank you to our Chief Mechanic, Joel Moore; you were the rock. The cornerstone. The guy who held it all together and worked tirelessly from Dawn to Dusk. Firstly, thanks for always keeping our bikes running mint, the last-minute tyre changes, the rebuilds when I decided I wanted something different after you’d already finished the bike. You put up with my detail-focused approach to racing and were always there to lean on for advice with bike setup, line choice and racing. Extra mention for your work keeping the van running mint and the rebuilds on the RC cars. You’re the man!
Young Winni Goldsbury! Where do I begin? I’m proud of you, your riding, your attitude and the person you are. I feel lucky to be not only your friend but a mentor and I’m happy to have played a part in the beginning of your adult career, whatever path it takes I know the chips will often fall in your favour. Thank you for your youthfull energy, it’s contagious and you motivated me to race better and try harder more than you could imagine. Proud to have you as an adopted little sister!
