This is the fourth episode of an eight-part docu-series that takes a closer look behind the scenes of the 2025 UCI Enduro World Cup season. Think Drive to Survive, but for enduro mountain bike racing – and that’s exactly what it is. It’s brilliant.
The world’s best enduro riders take on Loudenvielle, France, in this episode of Grit and Glory. Loudenvielle in 2024 was a deluge of mud and water, with riders almost unrecognisable beneath the thick layers of mud covering their bikes, kits, and helmets. In 2025, however, it was the complete opposite: the sun was beating down, and the stages were dry and dusty, allowing riders to reach frighteningly fast speeds.
The steep, loose, and fast trails suited some riders better than others. One rider who looked particularly comfortable in these conditions was Ella Conolly, who managed to secure her second-ever win after a hard-fought weekend battling with Morgane Charre, who was also thriving in the French dust. Catch up on Episode 3 here.
‘In the mountains of Loudenvielle, tension runs high as Ella Conolly searches for a breakthrough — riding with quiet confidence in pursuit of a result that’s eluded her for years. In the men’s competition, Greg Callaghan faces a weekend of frustration, battling to find his rhythm as the field pushes the pace.’ – UCI Mountain Bike World Series.
