When Australian XC racer Zoe Cuthbert joined Misspent Summers on a university design placement, she brought all the insight, motivation and skill you’d expect of someone riding for a top-tier international team while holding down her studies.

Plus, she had an idea: produce a cross-country print publication along the lines of our downhill and enduro titles, Hurly Burly and The World Stage.

While travelling to race in the 2024 XC World Cup series, Zoe recorded all the races, results and stats, selected some of the season’s best photographs by Piper Albrecht, then put everything into a lively design that we are now delighted to launch as our first XC-only publication (but not the last).
