In Val di Sole 2008 Sam Hill was on fire, 10sec ahead when he launched off the ski jump into the finish arena. Moments later he was on the ground scrambling to get himself to the finish line.

Victor Lucas is a freelance photographer and video producer. He started shooting photos of DH racing in 2002, which led to work for magazines and commercial clients worldwide. In 2009, he began shooting and producing video of downhill and cross-country World Cup racing. He continues to work on photo and video projects for all kinds of cycling.
‘My background is in product design, but I got frustrated with the daily routine at a computer and decided to swap it for the chance to get out in the great outdoors and capture images of bicycles and people. The biggest reward is when my work inspires others to get outside and explore the world.
‘In the last 18 years, I have covered everything from DH and XC, to enduro and road cycling, as well as product launches, athlete profiles and travel stories. I can work solo, as part of a team, depending on the size of the project. I run projects from start to finish – brainstorming, planning, location scouting, production, editing and music.’

This was one of Akrigg’s favourite abandoned factory riding spots in his homeland of Yorkshire. It was covered in tons of loose bricks and we made this nice little kicker ramp to wallride.
A Trail for Titans

Riding the epic Cliffs of Moher is no feat for mere mortals. A small rocky ledge, with a rock wall to one side and an empty void to the other, in places there was less than 8 inches to ride.
