A FEW QUOTES FROM THE VID:

Tommaso Francardo (ABETONE ANCILLOTTI VITTORIA FACTORY TEAM)

Sometimes it’s a big pressure as you want to demonstrate that you can arrive at a high level. But, sometimes it’s really nice to have the people who can understand me and my problems and really push me.

I remember last year on the really pedally parts I had many people and some of my friends running behind me shouting ” Pedal! Pedal! Pedal!”. I felt like I got the best out of my body and that was so nice.

Florencia Espiñeira Herreros (ORBEA FOX ENDURO TEAM)

I guess I try not to get too under pressure, I just keep trying to enjoy riding my bike and make my best performance no matter what has happened in the past. So, in that sense, my approach has always been the same. Do the best I can do and do the best preparation I can do.

Yannick Pontal (SRAM FACTORY ENDURO RACING)

This year is a bit different for me but I will say also I’m still working on the development side for the e-bike project, so it’s still busy for me. But I’m really happy and very proud to be involved with the e-bike racing and the development. A lot of big changes at the end but I can ride more and more so that’s a good thing for me.

Louise Paulin

We have so much fun terrain to ride e-bikes. You can go out for an hour and a half and have such an amazing time or for a really long ride and have an amazing time. I’m a bit like Flo, I want to get exhausted and you can get exhausted in quite a short time lapping around Monte Grosso and still learning so many new things that you can then bring to your normal bike.

Richard Rude Jr (YETI / FOX FACTORY RACE TEAM)

Seeing the course map it looked like pretty classic Finale. It feels good knowing that we’ve raced a few of them and yeah to brings back good memories. Excited to get back on the course and relive some old memories with Jared maybe. So yeah, feeling good about it.

Isabeau Courdurier (LAPIERRE ZIPP COLLECTIVE)

I’ve never won in Finale but I have done very well in the Trophy of Nations but I think I kind of missed something every single time. Most of the time it might be the physical aspect but I’ve been improving so much through the years. But yes, I have just not come close to doing it and I think it will feel pretty special for me as part of my family is Italian, so, definitely part of me wants to win here.
