Colby Pringle X Whistler Bike Park Opening Weekend Madness

From Crankbrothers: “There’s no weekend quite like opening weekend. After a long winter, on May 17th, the new Fitz chair started spinning, and another summer or bike park laps kicked off.

Sea to Sky local Colby Pringle is not short on style. So, with the temptation of freshly packed berms, untouched early season lips, and non-existent brake bumps, he headed along to take control of opening weekend.”

Ale Trails – Vancouver’s North Shore: we like our dirt as much as our beer!

From BC Ale Trail: “Ale Trails – Season 3: Episode 1 – Vancouver’s North Shore

Why choose between singletracks, flowy trails, jumps or downhill? Explore the vibrant trail networks on Vancouver’s North Shore to find the perfect challenge for yourself. Don’t forget, every good challenge deserves a reward. End the sesh with a taste of craft beer from the many local breweries.

‘Ale Trails’ is a doc-style mini-series looking at the intersection between mountain biking and local craft breweries, and how both work to support and enhance their community. In episode 1 we visit the birthplace of modern mountain biking – the iconic North Shore where legendary old school trails studded with ladder bridges and meticulous rock-work meld with a modern revitalization of flow and jumps. As with mountain biking, the North Shore was also an early adopter of craft beer hosting some of the province’s first craft breweries. Today, the vibrant (and conveniently walkable) ‘brewery district’ boasts 11 distinctly unique breweries pouring everything from low alcohol lagers to triple hazy IPAs. Whether you’re here for the beer or the biking (or both) you’ll be spoiled for choice.

‘Ale Trails’ is a collaboration between Mountain Biking BC, BC Ale Trail, and Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism Association and produced by adventure filmmakers, Ben Haggar and Mike Gamble / Cold Salt Collective”
