Rossignol launches all-new mountain bike range for 2022

New consumer-direct collection includes Enduro, Trail, E-bike and high-end platforms for kids.
Park City, Utah – March 1, 2022 – Rossignol, the iconic mountain sport and lifestyle brand, is excited to announce the launch of its new mountain bike collection for 2022. Now available for purchase in the U.S. via rossignol.com <www.rossignol.com/us/bikes/>, the all-new bike range <www.rossignol.com/us/bikes> includes 12 new models across four distinct platforms including enduro, trail, and e-bikes, as well as full suspension children’s mtn bike models.
Throughout the brand’s 115-year history, Rossignol has proven itself as an innovation leader in mountain sports equipment. This latest chapter solidifies the brand’s aspiration to provide active outdoor enthusiasts with rich experiences and Another Best Day in the mountains on a year-round basis.
As an integral part of Rossignol’s strategic development, the bike division is led by a dedicated group of bike industry professionals including: Albert Baques, Rossignol bike business unit director; Esteban Deronzier, Rossignol bike product manager; and Jean Meybeck, the division’s global brand manager. Each brings years of professional and competitive bike experience to the brand, ensuring the passion, innovation, and attention to detail inherent to Rossignol remains intact.
True to Rossignol’s racing DNA, the brand enters the sport through competition and the creation of the Rossignol Factory Team. Integral in providing development feedback, Rossignol’s team riders provided the final test in the most demanding environments before the new 2022 Rossignol bike collection could be launched to riders across the globe:
The Heretic <www.rossignol.com/us/bikes-heretic/> is Rossignol’s flagship 29” enduro bike. Featuring 160mm of travel and three build options, this is the bike that has been turning heads on the 2021 EWS circuit under the pilotage of Factory Team riders Clement and Estelle Charles and proved Rossignol bikes are ready to compete on the world stage.
The Mandate <www.rossignol.com/us/bikes-mandate/> is Rossignol’s 140mm travel trail bike. Also available with three build options, the Mandate features 27.5” wheels on the XS-S sizes before stepping up to the 29” wheel on M-XL sizes.
The Mandate Shift <www.rossignol.com/us/bikes-mandate-shift/> is the brand’s electric-assist (e-bike) version of the Mandate trail bike. Featuring 145mm travel and Shimano Steps motors, both the brand new EP800 and stalwart E7000 based on the model, the Shift is available with three different build options and price points.
The Mandate JR brings high-end mountain bike performance to the smallest of riders with two travel ranges and wheel sizes; a 120mm/24” wheel version and an 80mm/ 20” wheel model, as well as a dirt worthy kick bike Mandate Uno for the smallest new ripper.
Each model in the collection features a high quality 6061 series aluminum frame. The best solution in terms of durability and reliability, 6061 series aluminum also delivers on the competitive-level performance required on the EWS circuit while being easier to recycle and having less CO² impact than other materials on the market. The latter two features an important consideration in light of the ongoing eco-conscious efforts linked to the Rossignol Group’s Respect <www.grouperossignol.com/en/respect/> program.
Available for purchase through Rossignol.com and shipped direct to home, each bike comes pre-assembled in the box with tools and simple instructions that will have riders out on the trails within 20-min. Visit www.rossignol.com <www.rossignol.com/> to learn more
