The Confession Box #2

I don’t want mountain biking to be popular. It’s ridiculous to say because we’ve never had it so good, but I just have a hankering for the olden days. These were the days when people looked at you strangely for saying you ride mountain bikes, when every weekend was spent digging and riding safe in the knowledge your trails wouldn’t get mobbed, when you could actually buy a chain and cassette. Maybe it’s just growing pains and I’m just grumpy, but I’m longing for quiet trails again.
